1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions establish the rules and regulations for the use of the services provided by Mini Swimmer, a school specializing in swimming for babies and children.

2. Registration and Enrollment

2.1 Registration Requirements
  • Parents or legal guardians must complete the registration form.
  • Relevant medical information of the student must be provided.
  • It is mandatory to present documentation that proves the student's age.
  • Parents must sign the consent and liability documents.
2.2 Initial Assessment
  • All new students will be evaluated to determine their level.
  • Group assignment will be based on age and skill level.

3. Payment Policy

3.1 Fees
  • Prices are subject to change with prior notice.
  • Payment must be made before the start of classes.
  • We offer different payment methods depending on availability.
3.2 Class Packages
  • Monthly package of 4 sessions: Validity of 30 days
  • Monthly package of 8 sessions: Validity of 45 days
  • Semester package of 24 sessions: Validity of 200 days
  • Quarterly package of 12 sessions: Validity of 100 days
  • The validity period begins on the day of the first class

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

4.1 Cancellations
  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance.
  • Cancellations with less notice are not eligible for rescheduling.
  • No refunds will be issued.
4.2 Rescheduling
  • Classes canceled with the required notice can be rescheduled.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability.
  • Classes must be taken within the validity period of the package.
4.3 Class Transfers
  • Sessions can be transferred to another child.
  • The transfer must be notified to and approved by administration.
  • To request a transfer, you must send an email to hola@miniswimmer.cl indicating all the information of the student to whom the classes will be transferred.

5. Class Rules

5.1 Attendance Requirements
  • Arrive 10 minutes before the start of the class.
  • Mandatory use of a swimsuit and swimming cap for the child and the accompanying adult.
  • Mandatory use of a swim diaper for babies and children who are not toilet trained.
  • Showering before class is mandatory.
5.2 Supervision
  • Parents/guardians of babies and young children must remain during the class.
  • Only one accompanying adult per student is allowed in the pool area.

6. Safety and Health

6.1 Health Conditions
  • Students with contagious diseases will not be allowed entry.
  • Any relevant medical condition must be reported.
  • The school reserves the right to request a medical certificate.
6.2 Safety Measures
  • Students must follow the instructor's instructions at all times.
  • The school has certified first aid personnel.
  • Updated safety and hygiene protocols are maintained.

7. Rights and Responsibilities

7.1 Of the School
  • Guarantee the quality of teaching.
  • Maintain equipment in optimal condition.
  • Provide qualified personnel.
  • Ensure a safe and appropriate environment.
7.2 Of Students/Parents
  • Comply with the established rules.
  • Respect the schedules.
  • Maintain updated contact information.
  • Inform about changes in the student's health.
7.3 Disclaimer of Liability for Facility Events
  • Mini Swimmer operates in leased facilities and has no control over the general management of the premises.
  • The school is exempt from liability in case of:
    • Sports events or competitions scheduled by the facility
    • Unexpected closures for facility maintenance
    • Special lane reservations by the facility
    • Any other circumstance beyond the direct control of Mini Swimmer
  • In these cases, affected classes will be rescheduled within the validity period of the package.
  • If rescheduling is not possible within the validity period, the deadline to take the affected classes will be exceptionally extended.
  • Mini Swimmer commits to notify as far in advance as possible any changes in the schedule due to these events.
  • These situations will not entitle to a refund.

8. Modifications and Termination of Service

  • The school reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions.
  • Changes will be notified in advance.
  • The school may terminate the service in case of serious breach of contract.
